I am so incredibly saddened to hear of the loss of my former high school friend! He had a wonderful spirit and a gift to make everyone around him laugh! I have so many fond memories of the Cass Tech swim team and can’t believe this many years have passed … Prayers to the entire family and happy trails to a person that brought joy to everyone he came into contact with!

My condolences to the family and friends of Charles Charlebois. I met Chuck as a teenager in high school at Cass Tech (CT) in Detroit, MI. We shared the "Rookie of the Year" award for our team that first year. Even as a teenager Chuck was such a supportive person. He was constantly encouraging others--not so much through loud over the top comments but what you could tell were considered and serious comments meant to motivate you because Chuck showed he believed in you, he would work with you, and he would lead by example. Even at that young age...he was often quiet and reflective and with a wonderful sense of humor and a sense of empathy beyond his years. He was one of the coolest folks on the swimming team--and very talented. A really cool guy. I've thought of him often. I'm so sorry that he's gone. God bless you Chuck Charlebois. CT Forever!

I was extremely saddened to learn the news of the passing of my friend and high school companion from Cass Tech! Chuckle, as he was affectionately called, brought a smile and a laugh to everyone that he came in contact with. He was happy, jovial, just a great person… Brings back memories of the swim team and my friends I had made there… Blessings to his family and friends… Peace be with you all!
