Obituary of Elizabeth R. Blizzard

Elizabeth R. “Liz” Blizzard (nee Rideout), 80, of Parrish passed away on July 11, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Born in Bangor, Maine to Frances Rideout she came to Florida in 1994. Liz loved sewing and worked as a seamstress throughout her life including sewing clothes for her children when they were younger, and designing and making several wedding dresses. She loved trips to Boston and Old Orchard Beach, Maine with her sister, Carol. Survivors include her daughters, Patti, who was her best friend and her care taker for the last year of her life, Deedy of Maine, and Kathy of Alabama, and son Garrett also of Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Michelle and Lance of New Hampshire, Krissi, Nathaniel and Amber of Maine, and Elizabeth of Pennsylvania. Liz was predeceased by her son Kenneth a few short months ago, and her husband Dennis, mother, Francis, and sisters Carol and Patricia. Private services for the family will be held at a later date.
