Rita A Knopf-Roberson August 23, 1931 - December 14, 2021 Bradenton, Florida – Rita A Knopf-Roberson, 90, of Bradenton, FL passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021. Her daughter Amanda was at her side. Rita was a very strong women, raising six children on her own. She made sure her kids wanted for nothing. She always had friends, neighbors, and the kids' friends over, and they all were like family. She never turned anyone away. Rita’s house was the place to be especially around the holidays. We always had a house full. If you were a store clerk, beautician, mail delivery, doctor, nurse, nurse’s aide, lawyer, volunteer, waitress, her boss or co-worker, if you had met Rita no matter how long a time you spent with her you were her friend. Rita worked for Romanow Building Services inside Dow Chemical as a custodian for almost 17 years, and retired when she was 70 years old. Rita and her dog Sabrina moved in with her daughter Amanda and her husband Bob in Bradenton Florida in 2013, not to retire but to be on vacation. She loved going swimming, to the aquariums, to Bush Gardens, to the beaches, and to eat out at restaurants. She loved being outdoors. Rita leaves behind many wonderful, fun, and happy memories as she takes the same wonderful, fun, and happy memories with her.
