Obituary of Eldred C Wears

Eldred C. Wears, born May 27, 1938 in Columbus, OH and went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Margaret G. Wears. He is survived by his 3 children, Eldred Wears, Jr., Pamela Mangrum, and Cheryl Woolman, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 brother, Carl Wears of Parrish, FL. He dedicated 40 years of service to the Manatee County Highway Department, having received many awards and much recognition while working his way to Superintendent before his retirement. Also, he was a loyal founding member of Trinity Baptist Church of Bradenton.
