Obituary of Carol Sue Makowsky

Carol Sue Makowsky was born February 17th 1947. She was taken from us way too early on May 22nd 2022 at the age of 75. The only child of Jerry and Ethel Moliterno, born in NY, grew up in Rochelle Pk NJ, and raised her family for many years in Westwood, NJ. She taught her children the importance of "family". She was selfless, always willing to help and offer her words of wisdom. She was the picture of strength, a survivor of many life challenges, yet kept on smiling and encouraging others to seek and live the life they wanted. Everyone was always welcomed into her home for a warm meal, a friendly hug, or an ear to listen and offer her advice. She will be deeply missed by her children, William (Florian) Makowsky, Tammy (John) MacLellan, Michael (Cheryl) Makowsky, Eileen Cangialosi, her grandchildren Daniel Makowsky, Kayla Cangialosi, and her great grandson Killian Rhoads, her furry companions and her wonderful friends who brought her so much joy. We will see her in every sunset and hear her in every crash of the ocean. A service will be held June 3rd at 11am at Griffith Cline Funeral Home to bless her travels. A celebration of life will be scheduled in New Jersey at a later date.
