Obituary of Meredith Paige Kinslow Oviatt

Meredith Paige Kinslow Oviatt of Parrish, Florida, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Paige was born Tampa, Florida on May 3, 1972. Her parents were Judy Vigeant and Tom Kinslow. They preceded her in death, as did her grandparents Mary and Orville Etheridge and Mabel and Clayton Kinslow. Paige was named for her mom and grandmother, Mary + Judith = Meredith. While Paige lived most of her life in Manatee County, she also lived several of her adult years in Pinellas County. Paige graduated from Palmetto High in 1990, where she was both a Tigerette and active in drama. She was also active in 4-H; fashion/modeling, cooking and clogging. Upon graduation she attended Manatee Community College. During Paige's adulthood she spent many years working in the banking industry, both in Manatee and Pinellas Counties, most recently being Hancock/Whitney Bank. Paige loved to cook, read, hang at the beach, be with friends, binge watch CSI and Law and Order, but her greatest joy was her two boys, lan and Dylan. They were what kept her fighting for years. Paige had a special friend, Mike McDowell, that she loved spending time with, her "frousin" (friend and cousin) Maleyne Francis, held a very special place in her heart, and let's not forget Theodore a.k.a. Teddy her always companion pooch. You could find laughter wherever Paige happened to be. Even during these years of battling her illness, most of the time she always managed to laugh or smile for you. And when you asked her on any given day, she would always tell you "I'm okay." Paige loved life and fought long and hard, like a "Warrior," to stay with us. Meredith, as I called her, is survived by her children, lan and Dylan of Parrish, Florida; her brothers, Clay (Lauri) Kinslow of Sebring, Florida; Eric Kinslow, Palmetto, Florida. Her niece, Anslee Miller (Josh) of Sebring, Florida; nephews, Wyatt Kinslow (Madison) of Sebring, Florida; and Patrin Kinslow of Palmetto, Florida, and great niece Austyn Kinslow of Sebring, Florida. Her aunt and uncle, Beverly "Annie" and Brian Bennett of Palmetto, Florida and cousins Brooke Bennett of Palmetto, Florida and Bradley (Ashley) Bennett of Bradenton, Florida. Paige will be greatly missed by all of us, but we know that her Mom "Juju," Nana and Dada were so glad to have her join them in heaven. And most of all, she is free of pain. There will be a visitation for Paige on Friday, June 17, 2022. from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Griffith and Cline funeral home, 720 Manatee Ave. West, Bradenton. Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Griffith and Cline. Burial will be private following the service.
