Obituary of Ronald Gordon Simpson

"Our hearts are heavy to announce the passing of Ronald G. Simpson of Bradenton, FL.  He died at age 67 on November 20, 2022. Ron (“RONNY”) passed away at Sarasota Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loved ones after a short battle with mouth cancer. 

Ron was survived by his mother Barbara Zito; sisters Sharon Simpson and JoAnne Zimmerman; brother-in-law Eric Zimmerman; wife Shirley Simpson; two sons Christopher  & Jamie Simpson; daughter-in-law Emily Simpson; grandson Carter Simpson; Nieces Jessica Simpson & Krystal Ramsteck and nephews Ryan & Derrick Zimmerman, as well as several cousins. 

Ronny was a generous, light hearted, simple man with a kind soul and a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends…

We are sincerely grateful to the many friends that have given support and comfort during this time of loss.
