Obituary of Ken C Carpenter

Ken C. Carpenter, 64 years of age, passed on Feb 26, 2023 at Tampa General Hospital.

Ken was born Aug. 26, 1958 in South Bend, IN to the late Dave Carpenter and Carol Geier Carpenter.

Ken will be sadly missed by his family, his wife the former Kelley Murphy whom he married December 22, 2001; his daughter Molly (Hunter) Smith of Bradenton FL, his sons Nicholas Furillo of Youngstown, OH and Vincent Furillo of Bradenton, FL; and his 4 grandsons, Jackson, Noah and Jordan Furillo; and Hendrix Smith that meant the world to him, and many nieces and nephews.

He also leaves his sisters Kay Carpenter, Gail Hendrix, and Suzanne Rickey of South Bend, IN

Nancy Horvath and brother Dave Carpenter of Mishawaka, IN.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Dave Carpenter and Carol Carpenter, sister Vicki (Dennis) Williams, and brother John Carpenter.

Ken enjoyed golfing, fishing, bike riding, kayaking, travel, working on cars, and spending time with his family.

Family and friends are invited to visit the Funeral Home website to share memories and condolences.

There will be a viewing on Friday, March 3rd at 6 pm, with a service to follow at 7 pm at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home in Bradenton, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests potted arrangements or gift card donations to allow for the completion of an at-home memorial garden.
