Obituary of Linda M. Edwards

Linda M. Edwards, 70, of Bradenton passed away August 5, 2013. Born in Murray, KY she moved here from Lakeland, FL in 1972. She was a homemaker, member of Christ Episcopal Church since 1972, as well as a member of Big Sisters of the Suncoast, PACE Center for Girls, and founding member of the Junior League of Bradenton. She graduated from Lakeland High in 1961 and attended Florida Southern College. She is survived by her husband; Mike of Bradenton, FL, sons; Scott of Washington, DC, & Jay of Los Angeles, CA, brother; George Meredith of East Hampton, NY, sister; Cindi Davenport of Marietta, GA, & 12 nieces & nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Sat., Aug. 10, 2:00 PM, at Christ Episcopal Church. A reception to follow the service at Sandra Robinson’s residence: 700 Riverview Blvd. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to PACE or Big Sisters.
