Obituary of Arthur Dean Surgnier

Arthur Dean Surgnier, 79, of Myakka City, FL died Tuesday, October 29th, 2013 at Lakewood Ranch Hospital in the care of Tidewell Hospice. Visitation will be held at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Bradenton, FL on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, and Service & Burial will follow visitation at 12:00 pm at Bethany Cemetery in Myakka City, FL. Born in Avon Park, Mr. Surgnier came to this area 54 years ago. He was a Highway Patrol Officer for 29 years, a M.P. in the US Army and served in Korea. He is survived by Bev Surgnier, 2 sons; Sean Dean Surgnier and Troy Shane Surgnier, daughter in law Carman Surgnier. 3 Grandchildren; Larry, Jennifer and Tiffany, and 3 great grandchildren; Lawrence, Alyssa and Jason, 1 sister; Sherry and 3 brothers; Esly, Julius and Walter.
