Obituary of Phyllis C Herlihy

On January 2, 2013 Phyllis went to join her lord and savior. Born July 30th 1927 in Waverly, NY. Phyllis Schanbacher married George Herlihy who pre-deceased her in 1973. She is lovingly remembered by her children, George Herlihy his wife Linda, Lorraine Gabler, and Michael Herlihy, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Phyllis moved to Florida in 1961. She became an Episcopal Deacon in June 1991 and worked at Christ Episcopal Church and MCC as a chaplain for many years. She had a long ministry that touched many lives. She was known as the Deacon of Hugs and was a kind loving person. Memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church on January 10th, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Christ Episcopal Church Youth Group, Tidewell Hospice, or the charity of your choice. www.GriffithCline.com
