Dora Marie Carlton Parrish, beloved wife of the late Phillip Parrish, mother of the late Phillip (Pug) Parrish, Jr. Survived by daughter-in-law Iris Parrish; granddaughters, Verna (Edgar) Esparza, Belinda (Dwayne) Deen, Minnie Parrish (Todd); grandson, Pate Parrish (Ruby); great-grandchildren, Katrina, Scotty, Ronnie, Summer, Andrew, Tara, Phillis, Randy, Amanda, Andrew, and Trisha; and 34 great-great-grandchildren. She was born February 10, 1922 in Duette, Florida and went to meet her Lord on May 7, 2014. She grew up farming and was a housewife. Visitation begins Friday, May 9, 2014, at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. Funeral service will be at New Hope Baptist Church, where she was a member, on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 9:30 AM.
