Obituary of Mikael J. Kormu

Mikael J. Kormu, 25, of Bradenton, passed away May, 9, 2014. He was born in Evansville, IN and came to Bradenton in 2000 from Avon, IN. He was a graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School, was currently studying Chemical Engineering at USF and was an accomplished musician. He is survived by his father Jarmo (Melody) Kormu of Knoxville, TN, his mother Lisa Kormu (Dan Carter) of Bradenton, brother Kristofer of Bradenton, paternal grandparents Reijo and Raija Kormu of Finland, maternal grandmother Mary Hensley of Bradenton, aunt Marjo Platt of Japan, numerous uncles, cousins, family, and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, May, 14, 2014, 3:00 to 4:00 PM with a service to follow at 4:00 PM at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home 720 Manatee Ave. W.
