Team ISP at Telcordia had been home to Michael Petruzziello for many years. He has been the friendliest face around all the time. We all are very sorry for this loss. Here are some messages from some of the team members.
- Mike was one of the best. A good man, good friend and great husband to Debbie. He will be sorely missed. (Frank)
- Mike was always smiling, calm and always ready to help! May he Rest In Peace! (Amisha)
- Extremely sad news at the end of an already horrible year... I have so many fond memories of Mike in and out of work, words fail. Rest in peace, my friend, you put up a good fight. (Chris)
- Mike to me was a mentor, an office mate, a peer, a good friend, a role model, and just an all-around wonderful person. I will carry the numerous happy memories and good times in my heart for years to come. Rest In Peace my friend, I know that you are now without pain and in a better place. (JR)
- He was always very happy to help everyone and really a great person. I will always also remember the good times we had together on business trips doing installations. We always found some time to go out and have a little fun as busy as we were and made the best of it. I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace Mike. (Ron)
- Mike was a great person. He always had a smile, always willing to lend a hand and was always calm. Its a shame that he did not get a chance to enjoy his retirement. At the next ISP reunion we should all raise a glass and toast a great guy who left us too soon. We will not forget him. (Mary Ann)
- Mike was a great friend and co-worker who was always available to help in whatever way he could. We will surely miss him a lot. May his soul Rest In Peace and God give strength to the family and dear ones to bear his loss. (Ajay)
- Mike was a mentor, a travel mate and a wonderful friend to me . I have unforgettable travel memories with him for all that ISP installs at Telus/Qwest. Some truth in life are hard to accept but memories will never be forgotten. Those will always remain with us forever. Rest in peace Mike (Hiren)
- I wish he had more time to enjoy his retirement. RIP Mike (Arlene)
- Mike was a great person. RIP Mike. (Amit)
In your memory, we donated to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, to help fight this dreaded disease that took you.
Rest in Peace Mike.

I was introduced to Mike when my friend Mario invited me to play golf with them. I instantly admired his smile and friendly nature. And his golf swing was SO smooth! Mike was the type of friend that when you saw he was in your group to play golf, you knew it was going to be a fun day. I only wish we could have had more time to build upon our friendship. I will miss him.

Debbi, we feel so fortunate to have known Mike, even if it was only for a few short years. We will always remember our beer tasting outings and many other good times together. What a wonderful person he was, and so lucky to have you as his wife for 34 years. You are very special to us and Mike will always have a place in our hearts.
Love and virtual hugs

Dave and I are so happy to have had you in our lives. We will always remember the fun times we had...when we went to the farmers market and you and Dave found the local watering hole while Deb and I shopped...the comedy show with "Tattoo Girl, Duck Dynasty Guy, Golf Guy and Germaphobe Girl"...the Pumpkin Festival....the many dinners at Speaks Crab Shack...and just hanging out at the house with some cocktails. You were always so easy to be with, so nice to everyone. And you loved Deb with such devotion, it always made me want to have that in my life. You will be missed so much, but you will always be in our hearts. Love-on ya, Sioux and Dave

Mike--I remember the day we met and realized we were the first two homes on the block. Hoping that the condos were not going to be across from us. You were a great friend and neighbor. I'm glad for the golf we shared, the drinks with the guys at my place and the driveway conversations. I miss you, my friend !!

We both have the honor of calling Mike a dear friend. A beautiful man, inside and out, with a smile that lit up a room, a quick laugh and a star at Trivia Night. More than anything, his love for his dear wife Deb was visible every moment of the day. He will forever be in our hearts.

My Sweet Husband,
I loved you from the moment we met and knew that we we would share our lives together. Our lives were filled with love, happiness and respect for each other. You truly brought happiness to my life - your sweet smile and the look in your eyes told me how much you loved me.
Knowing you are at peace and free of pain brings me comfort but I am heartbroken without you. I will always love you with all my heart.

There is so many memories over the years we have done together! From all the family get togethers with cousins, sharing a bedroom as kids, to high school fun , having some beers in ‘THE” room, concerts and parties at Mike & Gail’s, to parties at you and Deb’s houses, spending time in Florida last year! A lifetime of memories, but I still wanted more! Gonna miss you Mike.

So many childhood memories. Even though we didn't live close by we all had many times at each others homes and the annual get togethers of the whole "Williams" clan at grandma and grandpa's home (now my sister's home). Mine and Craig's love and hugs to you all. Love

I already miss you Mike. No one can ever say anything bad about you. You were always positive and helpful no matter what. I have lots of memories to keep, of growing up together and pretty much being partners in crime, whether with cars, or or sports. We were separated by many miles in recent years, but I always knew you were my brother, and although it was rarely said, I had a lot of love for you. I'm glad I had the chance to tell you near the end, and so glad that you were able to appreciate it. You are missed.

Mike-you will be greatly missed-you were such a great man-kind and loving-is nothing but you showed to others and most importantly-to my sister Debbie for loving her as you did the apple of each other's eyes. You had a marriage like no others-you were meant to be together-. You'll be remembered for how you lived your life-not how you died. We were blessed to have you in our family. May you rest in eternal peace. We know you'll be watching over Debbie from up above. Xo Tina Pope
