John Marietta Palmetto - John Marietta, 66, of Palmetto Florida passed away August 29,2021 after a short illness. John was born June 27, 1955 in Willard, Ohio and graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1973. Moved to West Virginia to work in construction. Moved to the Bradenton, Florida area in 2001. John is survived by life partner of 18 years Linda Shulko Lay, sisters Brenda Wilson of Bellville, Ohio, Debra Urban of Ashland, Ohio. 4 children, Angela Hill of Poca West Virginia, Shawna Lane of Kenna West Virginia, Jason Marietta of Shelby, Ohio, and Valene Wright of Edgewater Florida. Several grand children and 1 great grandchild. John was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Marietta and Pearl Shorthouse Marietta and Daughter Marion Muldoon. No services to be held at this time.
