Obituary of Betty Smeester

     Betty J. Smeester of Bradenton, FL went to be with our Lord on June 3, 2023. She is survived by her sister; Lou Verna Adkins of West Virginia, her brother; Johnny Lowe, of Kentucky and her brother Robert Lowe, of West Virginia . She is survived by her children Denise Cruz, Walter Hutcheson, Jonathan Hutcheson, and also 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her mother,  Margaret (Spriggs) Lowe and father, Lawyer Lowe. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret (Annette) Waters. 

   She has been a resident of Florida since 1970. She worked for Tropicana Glass Plant for 33 years on swing shift. She loved going to church at Crossroad Church of God.

   There will be a Visitation, Friday, June 9, at 11:00am at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Ave. W. Bradenton, FL., with a Funeral Service following at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, FL.
