Obituary of Alice Merle Trice

     Alice passed away peacefully in her Bradenton, Florida home surrounded by family. She was born in Bradenton to Merle and Mary Coble Tinkham.

Alice, loved by her family and many friends, was always a bright light in people’s lives. She was a pillar in the community volunteering her time for many years with Trinity Methodist Church and The Children’s Haven. With that same generous spirit, she regularly donated to many local organizations including The Manatee Community Foundation, The Manatee Players, The Boys’ and Girls’ Club, and many more. 

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis Gary Trice; brother, James Tinkham of Huntsville, AL; daughters and sons-in-law, Allison Kaffka (Miroslav Kaffka) and Cindy Trice (James White); and granddaughter Hana Kaffka, all of Bradenton FL. 

Services will be held Thursday, December 7th at Trinity Methodist Church 3200 Manatee Ave. W. Bradenton, FL 34205 at 1 pm.
