Obituary of James N. Ganey, M.D

     James N. Ganey, M.D. age 73 of Bradenton, Florida passed away at his home on December 10, 2023 with his wife, Mary Jo, and beloved cousin, Doug by his side. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Joseph B. Ganey, M.D. and Eleanor Bass Ganey.

Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Jo, and his children, N. James Ganey, M.D. and Dr. Christopher B. Ganey, his siblings, Joseph B. Ganey, Jr. M.D. (Kim), Thomas H. Ganey, M.D. (Susan), Susan Conley (Jeff), Anne Dasher (Gordon) and his faithful Samoyed, Lucy.

Jim practiced General and Thoracic Surgery for 30 years. He was proud to be a partner with his father, Dr. Joseph B. Ganey.

A requiem mass will be held at Christ Episcopal Church at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 23rd.
