Obituary of Chester Donald Matteucci Jr.

     Chester “Chet” Donald Matteucci Jr, 87, of Palmetto, Florida passed away on December 12, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 28, 1936. Chet was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda; ex-wife Ruth Anne; parents, Chester D. Sr. and Irene Matteucci; and grandparents Olide and Maria Matteucci, also by his son, Michael D. Matteucci; two great-granddaughters, Josette Zudonyi and Emily E. Smith; and two sisters, Mary (Everett Sr.) Sheldon and Elaine (Dwayne) Wolfe.

The former owner of C.M. Associates, in his free time Chet loved fishing, his cats, Maggie and Tippie, and was also a regular blood donor, donating 100 pints of blood.

A visitation will be held at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home on December 18, 2023, at 12:00pm, followed by a service at Skyway Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm, where Chet goes to his new home to be together with Frieda again.
